It started with a good bang and then was a mite slow to get going with a lot of back story to some of the characters and at first I had a little trouble keeping them separate from one another, but once they made it out to the woods for the "study" it got really good and entertaining. I liked that not everything was answered to the Nth degree and that there was some good action and suspense as well. My favorite character was Griz, the caretaker. He was really well developed for me more than any of the others somehow and I really liked him and the way he was such a good guy and good to the students. He seemed to be the most intelligent and intuitive of them all, really.Worth the time and a fun read once it got going for me.

Story was very creative and the characters were fantastic. This author has a good voice so it's easy and interesting to read. Loved this book. I would definitely recommend!
The storyline was interesting but the pace was a little off for me. Well written, just not my style.
